Accumulator plant «ZHERSU POWER» LLC is put into operation in October, 2002, it specializes on automotive lead-calcium batteries production. This plant is built in accordance with Government Program of import substitution on the basis of leading technologies in the world.

High skilled Kazakhstan constructors have designed and created the general component of production plant cycle, that allowed to have one of the highest technological production of modern accumulator batteries in the world for our Republic. Planning plant capacity is 3 mln. of automotive and 1 mln. of stationary batteries per year.

General raw materials suppliers are Kazakhstan companies, also the raw materials purchases from far and close foreign countries - Russia, Great Britain, Spain, Italy, People’s Republic of China are made.

For production of stationary accumulator batteries «ZHERSU POWER» LLC uses the new “Calcium-Calcium” technology (lead calcium alloys are used for positive and negative electrodes making)

Main distinction of our technology with the using of lead calcium alloys is the replacement of traditionally used antimony in accumulators plates, harmful chemical for human by totally harmless calcium. This makes accumulators production the environmentally friendly and safe.

Besides, use of this technology defines quite new operation characteristics of batteries:

• Low gas release;
• Low self charge with the increase of storage life in charged condition;
• Increased starter characteristics;
• Reduce of battery height;
• Resistance to vibration load;
• Extension of service life;
• Reduce of lead consumption with the decrease of battery weight.

As a result, the Certificate of Conformity СН 04/0543 (Ассreditation No.017) ISO 9001:2000. was received on July 26, 2004. The Certificate of Conformity ISO 9001:2009 (KZ 102 - QC) TQCS was received on September 15, 2009.

Leading technology of production on «ZHERSU POWER» LLC means the whole process automation. Modern equipment allowed putting the control on general production operations. Uniqueness of control system is the automatic scrapping of non-conforming to settled technical requirements batteries.

Concerning the general trends of last year, first of all, successfully new regions and sales volumes extension in developed regions were developed. Plant production systematically entered into the retail market. For that purpose the marketing politics was reconsidered and sales strategy was systematized, and at the result, sales geography was considerably increased, dealers network has been developed and improved. For today 15 companies from different regions of Kazakhstan have certificates of dealers.

Even within repeated price increase for lead the company has produced and dispatched goods in the amount of 3 billions tenge. Under the results of last year "ZHERSU POWER" LLC as before keeps one of the leading positions in list of the biggest battery manufacturers because of flexible price politics and quality. "ZHERSU POWER " LLC redoubled batteries export to Russia and other CIS countries, occupied about 20% of total batteries market; monthly " ZHERSU POWER " LLC dispatches for export about 9-10 wagons with batteries. This strategy was developed by us intentionally, i.e. sudden lead price increasing has petrified many accumulator plants of Russia, under statistics almost each accumulator plant in Russia in last year reduced production volumes in average to 15%. Within the last year the flexible vary shipments of export and in Kazakhstan area were held in purposes of not loosing the acquired customers and even increase sales regions (Zheskazgan, Petropavlovsk and etc.,)and also Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Nizhniy Novgorod.

Work strategy for 2010 shows the taken analysis of car market, as it directly connected with battery market. Within the last few years offer and demands on Kazakhstan and Russian car markets went through quiet big changes. Due to population incomes growth and easy bank credits receipt, the buyers have paid attention on more comfortable and qualitative cars, which are accordingly more expensive.

One of the most important achievements of company is the successful introduction of batteries on internal and external batteries markets, that gives evidence by customers trust of many regions of Kazakhstan and Russia, and also CIS countries, like Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and Tajikistan, that considerably extended the sales realization of major products and serves as high production quality and reliability.

Nowadays there is a tendency in economics, where quality factor plays one of the leading roles in production management and its further movement. For the purpose of these processes encouragement every year in Kazakhstan the “ Altyn Sapa” exhibition is held and “For the achievement in quality” award is established, where 150 best companies and organizations demonstrate their achievements and variety of innovation projects.

«ZHERSU POWER» LLC was one of the contest participant and many times was awarded in “Best goods of production purpose” nomination. Products quality (including newness, technical level, and defects absence during performance, operation reliability) is the one of the most important means in competitive struggle. So, the quality management of products has became the major part of production process on plant, directed to qualitative competitive under price, modern-designed stationary batteries.

Besides, the positioning of product was reconsidered. The activities under increase of manufacturer recognizing and his «BM Energy» and «Bm Start+» trade marks were held. Since 2009 we have been producing the batteries for locomotives 32ТН - 550, 48ТН - 550, 32ТН -450 under special orders, and also we produce the batteries for installation on electric cars. Positive characteristic of company activity is the participation of plant in contests, exhibitions and achievement of high values on these activities.

Every year the dealers have a meeting.

In according to annual message of state president, where major direction is the «Growth of Kazakhstan citizens welfare», big work is done in social protection of workers, free public catering for workers in hazardous work conditions, annual free medical examination of workers is held, during summer staff organizes the rest in recreation areas. Nowadays there are 290 workers on plant.

Regarding the predictions for this year – our plant will continue to develop the production volumes due to existing nomenclature and new production kinds, concerning of quality improvement of products and reduce of its price.
